Yunjin from Le Sserafim receives hate following her comment about Messi

Yoonjin from girl group Lee Seraphim is facing backlash after making a joke about footballer Messi on Viverse. On February 12, a user on the communication app Weavers posted a message, saying:

"If you comment, I will stop playing football."

The user also had the display name Lionel Messi alongside the player's photo, which means the user was jokingly making the comment as a footballer.

Yunjin quickly responded to the user, saying: "Hey, I should have replied a few months ago."

According to Koreaboo, the comment has angered many Korean netizens. Yunjin's use of the words "a few months ago" means that the idol is referring to Argentina's World Cup win in which Messi played the role of captain.

While many expressed their anger that Yunjin would not be happy with Argentina's win, others commented that the tone of the comment seemed humorous. After the controversy erupted, Yunjin deleted her comment.
